The Kogi Progressive Stakeholders Forum (KPSF) has acknowledged the pivotal roles women play in the political fields across the state.
In a statement signed by the State Coordinator, Sani Phillips, to commemorate this year’s International Women Day (IWD), the Forum said women act as vital agents of change by driving sustainable development, economic growth, and social transformation through community leadership, education, and grassroots mobilization.
KPSF noted that as change agents, women bring unique perspectives, drawing on lived experiences, empathy, and determination to break barriers and inspire action.
“As primary caretakers, they foster community building, peace, and resilience navigating complex social, economic, and political challenges.
“On behalf of the leadership of KPSF, I celebrate and congratulate every woman on our team and I wish you all our women a Happy Women’s Day. Women are the future!,” the statement added.
