My dear Omonu Zoe,

You turn ten years old today, and my heart is full as I write this letter to you. Watching you grow from a little child into a thoughtful young boy has been one of the great joys of my life. Each year has brought new discoveries, new questions, and new signs of the person you are becoming. Your calm nature and the care you show in the way you think and act make me proud in ways words cannot fully express.

Precious Omonu Zoe, You have always carried yourself with a quiet strength. You listen carefully, you think before you speak, and you try to do what is right even when no one is watching. Those qualities will serve you well as you continue to grow. Life often rewards people who take time to reflect and act with good judgment, and you already show signs of that wisdom at a young age.

My dearest Akache, One of the things that brings me the greatest joy is your love for Jesus. Faith is a strong foundation for life. Continue to pray, read the Scriptures, and allow the teachings of Christ to guide your choices. The Bible reminds us that those who trust in the Lord and seek His wisdom will find direction for their path, and that promise has guided many lives across generations (Proverbs 3:5–6).

Your love for reading is another gift that will open many doors for you. Books introduce us to ideas, places, and discoveries far beyond what we see around us each day. Keep reading widely and asking questions about the world. A curious mind often becomes the starting point for great learning and meaningful achievements.

My darling Omonu Zoe, Your interest in science and technology is also something special. The world is changing quickly, and people who understand how things work will help shape the future. Continue to explore, experiment, and learn how ideas become inventions. Great thinkers in science began their journeys with the same kind of curiosity you already show.

As you begin this new year of life, I want to share a few pieces of advice that may guide you along the way. First, always keep God at the center of your life. Faith will help you remain steady during both success and difficulty. When your decisions are guided by truth and kindness, your path will become clearer.

Second, guard your character carefully. Intelligence and talent are valuable, yet character gives them true meaning. Honesty, humility, and respect for others will earn you trust wherever you go. People remember those who treat others with fairness and dignity.

Third, never lose your curiosity about the world. Continue to read, learn, and ask thoughtful questions. Knowledge grows when a person refuses to stop learning. Every new book and every new idea you encounter adds another brick to the house of your understanding.

Fourth, work hard and remain disciplined in whatever you do. Dreams become real when effort and patience are added to them. Success rarely comes in a single moment. It grows slowly through consistent effort, careful thinking, and the courage to keep trying even when things seem difficult.

Remember that your life should bring light to others. Use your knowledge, your faith, and your abilities to help people and improve the world around you. A meaningful life is not measured only by what a person achieves, but also by how much good he brings to others.

I have always shared with you that three things will shape the height you reach in life. Firstly, your relationship with God, be devoted and steadfast in Him. Study His creation, meditate on His Word, and let His wisdom guide your steps rather than leaning on your own limited understanding.

Be mindful of the books you read. Continue to be an avid reader, but choose those that draw you closer to God and strengthen your chosen path in life.

Choose your friends with care. True friendship is rooted in shared purpose and direction. Do not attach yourself to those who stray from the path you are walking or who lack a sense of direction. Set clear boundaries and respect them. These principles will protect you from the pressures of the world and help you grow into the person you are meant to become.

As you celebrate your tenth birthday, know that I am grateful to God for the gift of your life. I believe you will grow into a wise, compassionate, and capable young man.

Zoe, continue to walk in faith, continue to learn, and continue to be the thoughtful boy we already see today. Happy birthday, my dear son. May the years ahead be filled with wisdom, growth, and God’s guidance.

You are Zoe, because within you lives the life of God, the eternal life of the Master. The light of that life will guide your steps and strengthen your heart as you grow. You are Omonu, and the promise spoken in Revelation 5:10 finds expression in your life.

You are a royal species, One from a kingly dynasty . Your life carries dignity, purpose, and honour. You are a king, and the grace of God will continue to lift you, guide you, and surround you with help all the days of your life. May wisdom grow in you, may faith remain strong in you, and may your path always be directed by the hand of God.

On behalf of your precious mother and your lovely siblings, we all wish you a happy birthday.

From your dear Daddy, your Twin

Oyigu Onuche Elijah
