Personal Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State (Ministry of Education), Comrade Obafemi Rufus says the state has witnessed a renaissance in governance in the two years.
In a statement on Tuesday, Comrade Rufus said Governor Ododo’s administration in Kogi State has marked its two-year milestone with a remarkable display of impactful service and transformative leadership.
He noted that under the stewardship of Governor Ododo, the Confluence State has witnessed two years marked by tangible achievements and a commitment to grassroots development.
He lauded the achievements of the Ododo administration, highlighting the Governor’s inclusive leadership style and dedication to meeting the needs of the people.
“The Governor’s focus on social equity, rural development, and human capital advancement has resulted in visible improvements across various sectors in the state.
“Infrastructure development has been a key priority for the Ododo administration, with significant investments in road rehabilitation and construction projects. These efforts have not only enhanced connectivity and economic activities but have also improved access to essential services for residents in both rural and urban areas.
“In the education sector, Governor Ododo has made significant strides in renovating public schools, recruiting and supporting teachers, and ensuring access to quality education for all children in Kogi State. Similarly, healthcare delivery has been strengthened through the upgrading of health centers, the motivation of health workers, and the provision of essential drugs.
“Governor Ododo’s commitment to civil service reforms and workers’ welfare has restored dignity to the workforce and strengthened trust between the government and its employees. Additionally, the administration’s focus on youth empowerment and entrepreneurship has created opportunities for young people to become job creators and contribute to the local economy,” he said.
Comrade Rufus said as Kogi State continues on its path of development and progress, Governor Ododo’s leadership remains a beacon of hope and inspiration.
“With a strong foundation laid in the first two years of his administration, the future looks bright for the Confluence State under the visionary leadership of His Excellency Alh. Usman Ododo,” he added.
