The crown Prince of Ayere Kingdom, Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji has extended felicitations to the state government on Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s highly successful and people – driven second year anniversary in office.
Speaking to journalists during a media interaction in Lokoja on Monday, Asiwaju Olusoji spoke glowingly on how Gov. Ododo has stabilized the system, maintained unity, peace and tranquility and also engineering an all – inclusive governance in the state.
“His Excellency, Governor Ododo has proven doubters wrong with his exemplary leadership skills, party cohesion and continuing where his predecessor stopped knowing fully well that governance should be a continuum.
“For me, I am proud that I am a Kogite because Gov. Ododo is on a trajectory that will cement a greater Kogi state – where things work for the benefit of all – irrespective of tribe, gender, social status, religion or other extraneous considerations,” he said.
Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji also used the opportunity to urge every peace – loving Kogites to support Governor Ododo’s 2nd term agenda. He also stressed the political imperative of supporting him because it is the only way of guaranteeing a seamless transition of power to Kogi West in 2031.
He also had kind words for former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for creating a template for the incumbent to navigate through the mantle of leadership.
He concluded by once again, congratulating Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on his laudable efforts, and pray for wisdom to be able to do better for Kogites as the years roll – by.
