I write to commend the Governments of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the United States of America for the precision strikes conducted in Jabo Village, Tambuwal Local Government, of Sokoto state, Northwest Nigeria on December 25, 2025, taking out a chunk of terrorists wedging war against the Nigerian state and her peace loving and abiding citizens.
The operation demonstrates disciplined targeting informed by credible intelligence, adherence to the rule of law, and careful consideration of civilian safety.
As a criminologist and security analyst, I acknowledge that precision operations, when underpinned by robust oversight, transparent casualty reporting, and accountable post-operational reviews, can disrupt violent networks while minimizing harm to civilians. The collaborative framework that enabled timely, accurate targeting—alongside ongoing measures to protect human rights and uphold due process—contributes to regional security and public confidence in governance.
I commend:
