The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Zoe New Dawn Nigeria Limited, Stephen Achema Akpa, has paid courtesy visits to the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) and the Federal Ministry of Defence, as part of ongoing high-level engagements aimed at strengthening collaboration in housing delivery, investment, and national development.
During his visit to the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Engr. Dr. Akpa was warmly received by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Shehu Usman Osidi. Discussions centred on affordable housing finance, mortgage accessibility, and potential public–private partnerships that could expand home ownership opportunities for Nigerians, particularly low- and middle-income earners.
According to sources at the meeting, the Zoe New Dawn chairman reaffirmed his company’s commitment to supporting national housing objectives through innovative real estate projects and strategic alignment with government housing finance institutions.
“The private sector has a critical role to play in closing Nigeria’s housing deficit, and institutions like the Federal Mortgage Bank remain pivotal to achieving sustainable and inclusive housing solutions,” Engr. Dr. Akpa was quoted as saying.
In a separate courtesy visit, the business executive also met with the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Mohammed Matawalle, where discussions reportedly focused on national development, security, and the role of responsible private-sector actors in supporting government efforts.
