The Imole Adini Musilemi of Okun land and chairman Bismillah/Ramatuhi foundation, Dr Tajudeen Bismillah Ibrahim has congratulated Christians and citizens as they triumphantly enter this year’s Christmas celebration despite hurdles of life.
Dr Bismillah, in a felicitation message which was made available to media houses in Lokoja today, explained that the celebration of the birth Jesus Christ birthed in the world and urged citizens to hold unto that firm hope for a better and more productive society.
The Atuluse of Ejuku land and an All Progressives Congress party stalwart said that Christmas is a season of love, and celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ should a constant reminder of how God gave His only begotten Son for the salvation of humanity.
“We, as humans should therefore, endeavor to make sacrifice, even when it’s painful for the good of others and for our society” he said while urging citizens to go beyond the festivities and glamour associated with the Christmas season and strives to live out the true essence of the celebration
“Fraternal love and giving to the poor are the hallmark of Christmas, and enjoined all to lend helping hands to one another”.
On the current deadly wave of Insecurity in Okun land and the country at large, Dr Bismillahi Ibrahim called for genuine supplications from the citizens for God’s intervention to being the ungodly of the bad elements to end.
Dr Bismillah Ibrahim felicitated with the state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, citizens and admonished them to give their unfeigned support and solidarity to Ododo’s led administration to address the insecurity and socio-economics difficulty facing the state and its people.
