The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Yagba West Local Government Area and Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Kogi State Chapter, Tosin Olokun, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message issued on Sunday, Fanwo described Hon. Olokun as a dependable ally, a grassroots mobiliser, and a humble servant of his people whose leadership has brought stability, unity, and development to Yagba West Local Government Area.
The Commissioner commended Olokun’s commitment to inclusive governance and effective local administration, noting that his tenure has continued to strengthen the role of local governments as critical drivers of development at the grassroots.
Fanwo also praised the ALGON Chairman for his collaborative spirit and unwavering support for the policies and programmes of the Kogi State Government, particularly the Continuity and Consolidation Agenda of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, adding that such cooperation has helped to deepen service delivery across the state.
“Hon. Tosin Olokun has distinguished himself as a leader who listens to his people and places their welfare above personal interests. His leadership style reflects humility, dedication, and a genuine passion for grassroots development,” Fanwo said.
