Ile Ya Omo Okun Homecoming Festival Kicks Off with Zeetia Cares Santa Claus

Today marks the start of the two‑week Ile ya Omo Okun celebration, and Zeetia Cares brought the magic of Father Christmas straight to Okunland.

The “Zeetia Cares Santa Claus” segment part of the festival saw  over 1000 primary and secondary children from 20 schools gathered for a day of gifts, storytelling, and cultural fun .

Yeye Oge ti Ile okun and Initiator Ileya Omo Okun generational foundation (IOOGF), Yeye Omoleye Aiyelabowo reminded the children not to be distracted but to know the sons and daughters of whom they are in their daily activities.

‎The initiative, rooted in Zeetia’s mission is to give back, especially to primary‑school children aim to support education by providing basic school supplies and fostering a sense of belonging, this year’s edition is been supported by an okun illustrious son and philanthropist, Asiwaju (Prince) Olatunji Olusoji.

‎The event also include interactive storytelling and gift distribution that left the youngsters beaming with excitement.

‎The renowned annual event in Okunland have continue to gain momentum and strength in the bid to promote and improve the cultural value of our land and projecting our land as an epitome of gold and value for people to tapping in. We await individuals present at the grand finale on the 28th of December as we unveil the 5 in 1 event once again this year 2025.
