Chief Momoh Obaro Intensifies Ongoing Political Consultations, Visits Elders’ Council

The political consultation team of Chief Momoh Yusuf Obaro on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the APC Elders’ Council as part of ongoing engagements across Kogi Central.

The delegation was received by the Chairman of the Council, His Eminence Alhaji Shaibu Sheriff Aaze, alongside other senior members of the Elders’ Council.

Representing Chief Obaro was Elder Andrew Enebe, popularly known as Andy, who conveyed the message of the aspirant and highlighted the purpose of the visit. According to him, the tour is aimed at seeking guidance, blessings, and the input of key stakeholders ahead of the forthcoming political decisions in the zone.

In his remarks, Alhaji Aaze welcomed the team and expressed appreciation for Chief Obaro’s recognition of the Elders’ Council. He noted that such consultations reinforce unity and strengthen political structures at the grassroots.

The meeting, described as fruitful, also featured prayers by the elders for God’s guidance and favour toward Chief Obaro’s mandate. They recalled his contributions and the promises he fulfilled during his 2003 gubernatorial bid, describing him as a leader known for integrity and commitment.

The elders further emphasized the continued importance of elder statesmen in political discourse, stressing that their role remains vital in ensuring stability, fairness, and direction within the political landscape.

The delegation thanked the Elders’ Council for their warm reception and assured them that Chief Obaro remains committed to inclusive leadership and the development of Kogi Central Senatorial District.
