A chieftain of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, says the party is determined and resolute than ever before to free the people of Kogi state from oppressive tendencies.

Speaking at the Kogi West unveiling of ADC in Kabba over the weekend, Braimoh, a former governorship candidate in the state, said Kogi is bedeviled by orchestrated enslavement which has led to a situation where “we have the worst of us leading the rest of us while we actually need some of the best of us to lead the rest of us.”

He said the leaders of ADC are working together to ensure that they put a stop to the corporate terrorism through poverty that has led to armed terrorism.

“What we are experiencing today in Kogi state is an orchestrated enslavement and poverty, oppression, suppression, repression, exploitation, despotism, cruelty, misery and that is the situation we find ourselves today in the state.

“The active, nonchalant attitude of the people in the state has led to a situation where we have the worst of us leading the rest of us while we actually need some of the best of us to lead the rest of us,” he said.

He urged the electorate to stay focused and committed to the cause of freedom for the state from the wickedness in the land and oppressive tendencies that have pervaded every knock and cranny of the state.
