The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on Grassroot Sensitization, Alhaji Ahmed Y. Ogririma has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Senator Alhaji Isah Abonyi Obaro, describing his death as a monumental loss to Ebiraland, Kogi State, and Nigeria at large.
Hon. Ogririma described the late statesman as a distinguished leader, a man of honour, and a patriotic son of the soil whose contributions to political development and community upliftment remain indelible.
He noted that Senator Obaro was a bridge-builder, a unifying figure, and a leader whose wisdom, integrity, and commitment to the wellbeing of the people earned him respect across divides.
He prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the departed soul and asked the Almighty to grant his family, friends, and the entire people of Kogi Central the strength to bear this painful loss. He further encouraged the community to take solace in the impactful life the late Senator lived.
