Dr. Toyosi Akure, the Founder of the Toyosi Akure Foundation and a Renowned Philanthropist has expressed deep sympathy for the families affected by Sunday’s attack on the Cherubim and Seraphim Church (C&S) in Ejiba, Yagba West Local Government Area , Kogi State.
In a statement issued on Monday signed by the Head of His media team, Akure condemned the “unconscionable attack” and called for urgent intervention to end the menace.
“I sympathize with the families of the kidnapped victims and the entire Ejiba community on the sad occurrence.
“It is disheartening to wake up everyday to bad news. Nobody is happy with this sad development on our land.
“We seek urgent government intervention. It is getting out of hand and we need to combat the consistent attack in Okun land and the country,” he said.
The statement also confirmed that Armed bandits stormed the C&S church during Sunday service, abducted the Pastor along with an unverified number of worshippers.
