The joy and happiness of the people of Iyara and Takete – Ide communities in Ijumu and Mopa-Amuro local government areas knew no bounds as Senator Sunday Karimi donated the sum of 10million and 5million naira respectively towards community development during their annual cultural celebrations.
Though Senator Karimi was unavoidably absent in both festivities due to traffic gridlock along Abuja – Lokoja highway, he sent heartfelt greetings to both communities and urged them to continue to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in his steadfast determination and commitment to turning around the fortune of Nigeria.
Part of his goodwill messages read: “this is my support towards your celebrations. It is most unfortunate that the usual traffic gridlock along Abuja – Lokoja held us for hours and therefore, I had to return back to Abuja. I am with you in spirit and will continue to support community engagements that has positive impact on our people”.
He also use the avenue to implore the good people of Iyara and Takete – Ide, as well as Kogi West senatorial district in general to always support and pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his magnanimity in his appointment of several Kogi West extraction into critical and enviable positions of his administration.
He said things can only get better if the people overwhelmingly support the All Progressives Congress (APC) government led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu post 2027.
