Your well – deserved elevation to this enviable and critical office is both a personal milestone and a national recognition, one that affirms that proven integrity, selfless service, moral rectitude, high – level of discipline, diligence, zero tolerance for corruption and intellectual prowess remain a priceless currencies in our national life.
As a highly revered scholar, teacher, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a respected administrator of immense success, your appointment could not have come at a more critical time of Nigeria’s fledgling democracy.
Over the years, your consistent positive sync with the rule of law, exemplary academic excellence, and enviable public service records inspires renewed confidence that you will steer the mantle of leadership of the electoral body with the much required positivity, fairness, integrity, professionalism and constitutional honesty and prudency.
In conclusion, I’m confident that under your tutelage as INEC Chairman and umpire, the body will not only conduct elections, but will also uphold our democratic tenets, ensuring that the voices of all Nigerians, irrespective of party affiliation, shall be respected and protected.
