Member representing Yagba East/West/Mopamuro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Hon. Leke Joseph Abejide, has congratulated Kogi-born legal scholar, Prof Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) on his ground-breaking appointment as the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
In a statement, Abejide’s Special Adviser on Public Communications, Bashiru Abdul Mohammed, expressed the lawmaker’s excitement and gratitude to President Bola Tinubu and the National Council of State for the appointment to man the highest electoral umpire in history.
Hon Abejide, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Customs and Excise, at the 10th National Assembly, expressed confidence in the abilities, rich knowledge and experience of the legal luminary to delivering on the set goals of the commission.
