The Omodo Royal Family of Kabba extraction has extended heartfelt condolences to Governor Ododo Ahmed Usman on the sudden death of his father at the age of 83.
According to a press statement made available to journalists on Tuesday in Lokoja, Kogi State capital by the family’s President General, Mr. Emmanuel D. Oshatuyi, the family expressed rude shock on the unfortunate incidence but give thanks to Allah for a life well spent when alive.
” On behalf of the family, we commiserate with His Excellency, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, the executive governor of Kogi State and the entire family on the sudden demise of late Alh. Momoh Sanni Ododo,” the President General said.
” As human, we are deeply pained by the death of Baba Momoh Sanni Ododo, but we are consoled by the fact that he laid good legacies in his children which is evidential in the good governance and exemplary leadership ingenuity of Governor Ododo in our beloved Kogi State.”
“As a family, we indeed, share in your moment of grief, but we are consoled in the fact that Baba Ododo lived a life worthy of emulation.”
” It’s our fervent prayers that may the Almighty Allah in His enduring mercy and love grant our lovely late father Aljauna firdaus as he journey home,” the PG concluded.
