The Pro-Chancellor Federal University of Education, Pankshin, and a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress in Kogi State Hon. Funsho Ekundayo Olumoko has sent a condolences message to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo over his father’s death.
In a statement issued through his Media Aide, Martins Mejabi, Hon. Olumoko described the death as a loss to entire the State.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I receive the sad news of the passing of Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo, your esteemed and beloved father, at the age of 83.
It is hard to truly capture the depth of grief that comes with such a loss, but I want you to know that you do not bear this burden alone. It is a loss to the entire state.
Daddy was more than just a parent to you – he was a moral compass, a wise guide and a stabilising force whose strength and values helped to forge you into the good man and excellent leader that you are today.
His quiet sacrifices, his unassuming wisdom and his dedication to the best of family and community values are clearly reflected in the integrity, humility and commitment with which you now serve the people of Kogi State.

In moments such as this, we are reminded that life’s greatest legacy is not in material possessions, but in the children we raise and the values we pass on.
By every account, your father lived a fulfilled life, attained a ripe old age and by giving Kogi State a worthy son as Governor, he has left behind the legacy of a family name that commands respect and admiration.
I mourn Baba with you and I share, deeply and personally, in your pain – for he was, in every sense, a father as well to us all.
Take comfort in knowing that your father’s spirit lives on through you. Continue to honor him by leading with the same sense of responsibility, dignity and compassion that he instilled in you.
I pray Almighty God in His infinite mercy and compassion, to forgive his shortcomings and admit him into eternal rest
May he grant you and the entire Ahmed Sani and Ododo family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Accept my heartfelt condolences sir, and be assured of my continuous prayers, Olumoko said.
