The Standup for Women Society (SWS) has condemned the treatment of Comfort Emmanson by Ibom Airline.
In a statement on Wednesday, the national president, Barr. Deborah Ijadele-Adetona, described the treatment meted on Comfort for allegedly disrupting flight as unacceptable.
SWS offered offered pro bono legal services to support her in seeking justice.
“We call on relevant authorities to investigate this matter and ensure that passengers’ rights are protected.
“SWS stands in solidarity with Comfort and reaffirms its commitment to promoting women’s rights and dignity.”
“We therefore call for justice for Comfort Emmanson whose rights have been violated in many ways,” she said.
SWS demanded public apology and compensation for the physical assault inflicted on Comfort.
