Dear Hajia,
On behalf of concerned teachers in Kogi Central, I write to sincerely appreciate your remarkable contributions to the growth and wellbeing of our people. Your impact has been felt far and wide — from donating transformers to various communities, to distributing clothing to women, empowering individuals, securing state employment for some, and facilitating state appointments across districts. These acts of service speak volumes about your commitment to humanity and the development of Kogi Central.
Your generosity is both inspiring and commendable.
Ma, I humbly appeal that you extend this spirit of support to another important area — the welfare of our school leaders, particularly the principals. These leaders carry the heavy responsibility of shaping the next generation, yet many of them face avoidable hardships in their daily duties. Out of the numerous principals serving diligently in Kogi Central, only two own personal vehicles , and some do not even have a motorcycle. This not only affects their comfort and dignity but also poses a challenge to their safety and effectiveness.
We, their teachers, see them trek to school and back home daily. It pains us deeply because these are leaders working tirelessly to build other leaders — our students.
We therefore appeal to you, Ma, that if possible, a loan facility can be provided to them or, through your good office, they can be supported with KEKE NAPEP to ease their movement. This would go a long way in improving their safety, productivity, and morale.
I trust that, as you have done in many other spheres, you will look into this urgent need and make a difference.
Thank you for your continued service and love for Kogi Central.
With respect and gratitude,
– Osuwa Usman Muhammad
