A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Director-General of the APC Governorship Campaign Council in Kogi West during the 2023 governorship election, Hon. Funsho Olumoko, has called on young people in Kogi State to remain steadfast in their support for the APC-led administrations at both the state and national levels.
Olumoko made the call on Tuesday when he hosted the Senior Special Assistant to the Kogi State Governor on Grassroots Mobilisation, Hon. Abubakar Amodu, and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilization, Hon. Abdulkerim Haruna, at his office in Abuja.
During the meeting, Olumoko commended the two Senior Special Assistants for their proactive and strategic engagement with critical stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing their efforts as timely and essential to strengthening the party’s grassroots structure.

He noted that their consultations and mobilisation activities would position the APC for effective grassroots engagement and improved electoral success in the forthcoming polls.
Olumoko lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as his courageous leadership and strong commitment to Nigeria’s overall development, expressing confidence in the administration’s ongoing reforms and governance agenda.
He also applauded Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for sustaining and expanding developmental projects across the state, while commending the governor’s commitment to strengthening security and promoting unity among the people.
Olumoko expressed confidence that the APC would record victory in the 2027 general elections, urging party members to remain united, committed, and focused on consolidating the achievements of the party at all levels.
Responding, Hon. Abubakar Amodu and Hon. Abdulkerim Haruna commended Olumoko for his wisdom, experience, and exceptional political leadership, describing him as a dependable statesman whose influence continues to strengthen the APC across Kogi State.
They noted that his deep grassroots connection and extensive political network have continued to unite communities and contribute significantly to the party’s electoral successes.
The two Senior Special Assistants assured Olumoko of their continued commitment to drawing from his wealth of experience as they intensify grassroots mobilisation and stakeholder engagement in support of the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
They reaffirmed their resolve to continue spreading the goodwill of the All Progressives Congress while mobilising support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo across Kogi State.
