Chairmen of the All Progressive Congress (APC) across Ajaokuta Steel Township polling units has agreed to work for the House of Representatives candidate of the NNPP in the forthcoming general election, Hon. Lawal Idrissu.
The chairmen unanimously agreed to dump their party candidate for the NNPP candidate.
Spokesperson of the chairmen, Mallam Audi Yusuf said that Hon. Lawal Idirisu is highly rated above other contestants, “Hon. Lawal is a performing Leader and the need for him to continue for third term is most preferable as a ranking Member is better than a first timer.
“Our decision is based on the visible and tangible projects and empowerments across Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.”
They described Lawal as a God sent to Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.
Adding further that Lawal has no equal when compared to others in Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, “So, we cannot afford to loose him at this moment.”
