Members of Traditional Medicine Practitioners Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area chapter have thrown their weight behind the candidature of Rt Hon Kalawole Mathew for the second term bid to represent the good people of the constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly.
This was made known in a statement jointly issued and signed by the Chairman of the association, Chief Abiodun Tifashe, Vice Chairman, Chief Reuben Mosule as well as Chairman, Board of Trustees, Chief Ayodele Okono and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.
According to the statement, the decision of the association is based on the impressive performance of Rt Hon Kolawole whose performance far outweighs all the former lawmakers before him.
The association pointed out that Kolawole’s empowerment and skill acquisition programmes cut across the 15 wards in his constituency.
Of a particular one, which deserves a great commendation, the association noted was the recent training of more than 150 youths in different skills as well as equipping each training with the necessary tools to work.
The association further expressed delight with the representation which Rt Hon Kolawole has been giving to the electorate in the state assembly and vowed to work strongly for his reelection.
The statement commended Governor Yahaya Bello for appointing one of their members, Hon Mustapha Onuorieza as Special Adviser on Traditional Medicine and prayed God to grant him all his aspirations during his tenure.
