2019: Lokoja APC Inaugurates Campaign Council

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Lokoja Local Government Chapter has inaugurated its campaign council and other committees ahead of February and March 2019 general elections.

Inaugurating the Council at the party Secretariat in Lokoja, Chairman of the party, Hon. Maikudi Bature charged the council to work hard for the victory of party at all levels.

He said the council members were selected based on their “dedication, impeccable character and ability to deliver all our party flag bearers from President Buhari, Senator, member House of Reps and state Assembly members, which I believed the team are capable of executing the project without any hindrance.”

Bature thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for the support he is according the party and its flag bearers who he said are working tirelessly in seeing that the party emerge victorious at the forthcoming elections.

The Chairman of the campaign council and Administrator of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon. Shiru Lawal called on the party supporters to work hard by contributing their quota for the victory of the party in the area.

He said if all members come on board the party would emerge the winner from national to the state level.

He thanked the party leaders for the confidence respond on them and pledged to work hard for the victory of the party.

Earlier in an interview with journalists, member Representing Lokoja/ Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Haruna Isah explained that the APC would sweep the poll in Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency.

He called on the people of the area to vote for all the National Assembly candidates in order to enable the president provide the needed dividends of democracy.

“What happened during the presentation of budget last year by president Buhari would have been a disgrace if not because APC have the majority. That is why I am appealing to our people to vote for Senator Smart Adeyemi, Alhaji Abdulkareem Isah Wambai, President Buhari and Alhaji Isah Umar,” he said.

The lawmaker said since he assumed office last year he was able to provide medical outreach and drilling of solar boreholes which is currently ongoing.

“As I speak with you, work is ongoing which include drilling of 25 solar boreholes in different communities across the federal constituency and
medical outreach currently ongoing in Felele, Lokoja.”

The ceremony was attended by member representing Lokoja/ Kogi Federal constituency, Hon. Haruna Isah all the APC party flag bearers, political appointees from the area and a host of others.
