A senatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. William Toyin Akanle has called on Nigerians to allow the message of Christmas guide their actions in the build up to the 2019 general elections.
Akanle made the call in his Christmas message sent to Kogireports.
The cleric explained that Christmas is all about love, giving and compassion.
“On behalf of my self and my family, I want to specially use this occasion to wish all our friends supporters well wishers and Christians all over the world merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance.
“My appeal at this period is for us to allow the message of Christmas that is centred on love, giving and compassion to guide all our actions as exemplified by Christ who paid the Supreme price on the Cross of Calvary especially as we approach the 2019 general elections.
“Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and new year celebrations filled with love joy peace and great accomplishments,” he said.
