100 Days in Office: James Onoja Takes Education to the Grassroots

Hon James Omachonu Onoja, Executive Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu local government council, Kogi state, today celebrates 100 days in office.

In his message, the chairman thanked God for giving him the opportunity to serve his people. He as well thanked the good people of Igalamela/Odolu for giving him the needed support within the few days he spent as the Executive Chairman of the local government.

He urged the people to always stand by him and not to indulge in divide and rule method, rather, be United for United we stand and divided we fall. 

In his speech, he enumerated his achievements to include extension of tap water to Igalamela/Odolu local government secretariat, grading of rural roads, ensuring 24 hours security in the local government and lots more.

He added that all these were achieved in line with Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello’s new direction agenda.

In addition, he appealed to his people to join hands and represent the good image of Igalamela/Odolu as more dividends of democracy awaits their door steps.

The Chairman, in his magnanimity extends hands of fellowship to the primary school pupils in the local government and asserts that taking current education from analogue to digital is one of his most priorities.

The pupils were happy and celebrated with the Chairman. Like wise, brilliant pupils were randomly selected across schools and were awarded scholarships respectively.
