Reeling out Taufiq’s achievements in office in his first hundred days in office, Othman Hamidu said the administrator has been striving hard to make Ijumu and Kogi state a better place for people to live in.

Taufiq, who is the chairman Kogi State ALGON, maintained collaboration with Kabba, Yagba East, Lokoja and
Mopamuro local governments in tackling the menace of kidnappers that has ravaged Obajana-Kabba. He also repaired faulty vehicles for security outfits’ use to combat insecurity in his domain.

In his bid to shore up the internally generated revenue for the local government council and empower his people, Taufiq built shops and abattoir. He also introduced cattle fields in Iyara.

Aside drilling two borehole systems and building two mosques, Taufiq also graded roads in several Ijumu communities. The LG Administrator also built covets and drainage within the short time he has spent in office.

According to Othman, Taufiq Isa is the first ALGON to secure office for the association in the state capital, Lokoja.

“The Administrator, without any room of doubt has performed creditably well in his first 100 days in office”, he said.

“It is worth mentioning that he has facilitated appointments of Ijumu sons and daughters into
various positions in the state”.
