Kogi CJ Warns Judges Against Sharp Practices

The Chief of Judge of Kogi State, Justice Nasiru Ajanah has stated that the judiciary under his watch would not tolerate acts inimical to the tents that sustain the process of justice delivery.

Ajanah stated this on Monday at the induction course for newly appointed magistrates and area court judges in Lokoja, the state capital.

He said the course was to build confidence in the general public in the capacity of the judiciary to deliver on its mandate.

The chief judge implored the participants to utilize the benefit of every minute they spent with their lordship as the opportunity will be of unquantifiable value.

He said the state judiciary had always strived to equip her appointees with the essential know-how necessary to enable optimal performance.

Ajanah expressed delight that they were still making the training possible to enrich the human capacity of the justice delivery in the state despite daunting challenges.

Earlier, the Chief registrar of the state high court, Yahaya Adamu said the course was to give them insight into what they would come across in their judicial career.
