A member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Comrade Friday Paul Sani has described his purported arrest in Abuja over firearm as malicious and an attempt to blackmail him.
Sani said yesterday in Abuja that he is innocent of what he is being accused of, adding that reports that he was arrested with a prohibited fire arm and 35 rounds of ammunitions were fake and unfounded.
He expressed shock that his opponents are using the same document which was struck out by a magistrate court in Kogi State in 2007 for lack of evidence against him.
