Let me break it down for the ‘blind’ supporters, e-rats, bootlickers, sycophants, praise singers and online-dogs who obviously do not comprehend a thing aside being trained to attack and “bite”anyone who has a contrary opinion of Governor Yahaya Bello. Former President Jonathan was in power during the nationwide voter registration conducted by INEC in 2011, the then President could have ordered INEC officials to register him at the state house in Aso rock, but he didn’t because such is against the law. He had to travel all the way with his family to his village in Otuoke to be registered as a voter where he is eligible to vote. President Buhari registered as a voter in Daura because he is eligible to vote there. So let’s assume governor Bello actually needed to re-register as a voter, is there any wisdom or sense whatsoever in him doing so in government house instead of going to his village where he will be eligible to vote, is there any polling unit inside government house where he will vote when the time comes?

Let me quickly educate those who have stupidly tried to bring Hon. James Faleke into the picture. The running mate to the APC gubernatorial candidate was only able to vote in his village in Ekinrin-Adde not because he re-registered there, he was educated enough to utilize the opportunity created by INEC to seek a transfer of his details from Lagos where he had registered to his village in Kogi state.

Even as the semi-literates have continued to shamelessly defend one of their own. The fact remains that governor Bello fumbled and has been wrongly adviced by his retinue of empty brain appointees and advisers. The lack of remorse displayed so far by the state government and its failure to own up and take full blame and responsibility for the mistake that has been done and tender an unreserved apology to kogites at home and in the diaspora for the embarrassment this issue has caused is to say the least unfortunate and the height of irresponsibility and immaturity on the path of the Yahaya Bello administration.

Governor Bello should have consulted INEC whether he needed a second registration before engaging in that show of shame and display of ignorance to the nation’s electoral laws and system which has now brought a great deal of humiliation and embarrassment to a state which recently has always being in the news for the negative reasons. This has further exposed the fact that governor Bello is surrounded by misfits and low thinking personalities who are only there to enrich their pockets. Nobody is perfect, that is why great leaders are known to always surround themselves with men of wisdom, class, right attitude and mentality to be able to guide, correct, caution and advice them rightly. If there’s an iota of shame left among the men and women who surrounds governor Bello, they should stop defending him any further on this matter and spend more of their energy and resources apologizing to the good people of the state on behalf of their principal.
