Like the saying goes, “a golden fish has no hidden habitat”. Ever since the commencement of the Kogi sixth assembly, the voice of the good people of Ankpa 2 constituency, an uncommon public servant, unassuming young man and a proficient lawmaker in person of Hon. Alfa Mommoh Rabiu has always been in the news for that and only what translates to legislative prudence.
Even as he has kept his head straight amidst uncertainties, political gimmicks and divergence from those against his principles, his desire seem still fulfilling. In a late development, the distinguished honorable was announced by the speaker to chair the house committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A United Nations focal drive for the rural development and been that the workaholic honorable is a staunch grassroots politician, the justification is unarguably not in doubt.
Announcing further, the Ankpa born legislator was named vice chairman on the house committee on judiciary and justice. Perhaps due to his conspicuous traits of constant agitation and will toward fairness and egalitarian style of governance. Hence, the ebullient honorable shall still replicate excellence as nothing inspires good work much more than a burning desire.
In additional engagements, Hon Alfa Mommoh Rabiu will be serving as member of other relevant committees among which are Economic planning, budget and monitoring, House services, Information, strategy and publicity, Agriculture and few more. As demanding as the tasks may be therefore, the challenges shall be strength secrete of the Ankpa 2 voice actively representing at the hallowed chambers of the State House of Assembly.
It becomes pertinent therefore at this point in time to congratulate a man with the strength of men, a quintessential lawmaker, an administrative juggernaut, selfless leader, humane politician and the infectious smile bearer on this yet another landmarks. The coinage “Ebije” is indeed showing manifestation among your contemporaries and the very best is yet to come. Congratulations Sir!
