The Secretary to Okehi local government area, Hon. Matthew James Omeiza has showered encomiums on Hon. Zakaria Alhassan Otokiti, member representing Okehi constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly as he clocked one year in office today.
Speaking about Hon. Otokiti’s legislative acumen, the Council Scribe described the House of Assembly member as “a legislator who carries out his duty with passion and dedication.”
In a statement on Thursday, Hon Matthew said the lawmaker has sacrificed his own personal interest in the interest of the people at all time.
“He has also contributed a lot to the development of legislative institutions in the state Hon. Otokiti is a man that is charismatic of the office he occupies.
“He is calm, composed and each time you watch him presenting a bill in the house , you would know an experienced legislator is before the hallow chamber,” he said.
He prayed for more life for the lawmaker as he continue to represent the good people of Okehi state Constituency in the assembly.
