Member representing Ajaokuta Federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, has distributed palliatives to his constituents ahead of the Christmas celebration.
The initiative, he said, was aimed at supporting those in need during these challenging times.
Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem said he remains commited to the welfare of his constituents and recognized the economic hardships faced by many individuals and families, particularly as a result of the transformative agenda of both the federal government and that of the state.
He stated that based of the prevailing economic challenges, he took it upon himself to provide essential supplies to alleviate the burden of about 1200 households in his constituency.
The palliatives included food items such as rice, beans, corn, and cow as well as other essential supplies to support the basic needs of the recipients.
While speaking at the gathering on Sunday, Hon Sanni assured the constituents to expect more democratic dividends, adding that he will continue to use his good office to influence better offers to all his constituents.

While restating his commitment to fulfil all his campaign promises, Hon Sanni appreciated his constituents and most importantly his party leaders for the support given to him so far. He urged them to continue to support the federal government and the government of Kogi State, noting that the APC led administration have policies that prioritize the interest of the citizens.
The CAN president and other Christians leaders present praised the lawmaker’s leadership qualities and genuine concern for the welfare of his constituents. They commended his initiative to address the immediate needs of the community, particularly during a time when the festive season should be a time of joy and celebration.
Other stakeholders present at the distribution event emphasized the positive impact Hon Sanni’s actions have had on the community. They highlighted his dedication to addressing the challenges faced by his constituents and his willingness to take concrete steps to bring about positive change.
