The President, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Oladele Nihi has congratulated Dr. Mrs. Folashade Yemi-Esan, the Kogi-born public servant newly appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as the Acting Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
Nihi expressed satisfaction on her appointment, and also thanked President Buhari for appointing her; stating that he has no doubts in Mrs. Yemi-Esan performing well in her new job.
“The appointment, which was with an immediate effect, did not come as a surprise, for it is a fitting testimony to Mrs. Folashade’s active role as former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources,” he said.
The youth leader proposed that it is of paramount importance that Mrs. Yemi-Esan look into the aspect of job-buying; which has become the order of the day in the country.
He posited that as the new Acting Head of Service of the Federation, Yemi-Esan is more than capable of eradicating the mess in the system, and give every Nigerians equal chances of getting employed by the Federal Civil Service, without any form favoritism.
While noting that this is a huge task for the Acting Head of Service of the Federation, Amb. Oladele Nihi expressed willingness and also pledged to work closely with Mrs. Folashade’s office, to ensure that she achieve all set objectives.
“She can be well assured that she has the full support of the over 70 million Nigerian youths.”
