Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has described the Deputy Governor of the state, Chief Edward Onoja, as an accomplished gentleman.
In a goodwill message he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday, Dr. Usman Ogbo noted that with a kind, unassuming mien that defies categorization, Chief Onoja has waded through life as an enigma.
“You are an enigma not only in terms of accomplishments, but also in loyalty and humility.
“Through loyalty to your Principal, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, and commitment to service, you have contributed immensely to the actualization of the New Direction blueprint of the government.
“On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, we join the good people of Kogi State in celebrating Chief Edward Onoja on the auspicious occasion of his 49th birthday anniversary,” he said.
He prayed that God grant Chief Onoja more years of eventful, credible, insightful, forthright and impactful service to the state and beyond.
