The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated with the State Auditor General for Local Government, Hon. Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege on the auspicious occasion of his birthday celebration.
In a statement on Tuesday, Prof. Usman described Adabenege as an inspiration to many, as he always displays a strong character of a detribalised personality.
He further described him as someone who chooses merit over tribal or religious affinity.
He appreciated the celebrant for his invaluable contributions to the development and advancement of Kogi State, particularly as a close ally to Governor Usman Ododo.
“We celebrate you today for your worthy and immense contributions to the emergence of the new Kogi State and for your selfless service to humanity.
“Your unwavering commitment to the development of our state and your unrelenting support for education are an inspiration to us all.
“The Polytechnic community is grateful for your guidance and support which have been instrumental in shaping the Institution’s growth and progress,” he said.
The Rector prayed God Almighty in His infinite mercy to continue to grant Honourable Adabenege the needed wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health.
