Convener of Concerned Kogites, Ambassador Aliyu Mahmud, has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello on his 45th birthday.
Mahmud described Governor Bello as a selfless leader who has put in so much efforts into redirecting the affairs of Kogi state towards a better future.
He commended his result -oriented leadership style, which he said has positively reflected on the lives of Kogi state citizens and projects his tenure has accomplished so far.
He stated this in a statement signed by him.
The statement quoted Mahmud as saying: “Joining the rest of the well meaning Kogi State citizens, I extend my best wishes to my distinguished leader in person of Governor Yahaya Bello. This auspicious day gives us an opportunity to reminisce on your indelible positive track records and also thank you for your contributions towards the development of our dear state.

You have displayed a unique combination of a highly disciplined and compassionate personality coupled with an ambitious and grand vision for our state. As Governor, you have done so much to correct our lapses along ethnic and religious sentiments and you have made frantic efforts in placing the state on the pathway to a promising future.
“Your administration speaks hope to the aspirations of our people, it has been filled of momentous achievements and the realization of untapped glorious path of new direction.
“You are a man of unequaled political courage, who have taken bold steps that your predecessors shyed away from in redirecting the affairs of the state. You have made Kogi State safer than before and positioned the state for better economic opportunities.
“Indeed, you are the perfect Governor for the moment. For your unflinching support for our people and exemplary resilience in making Kogi State a better place, I pray that Almighty Allah grant you the necessary wisdom and aptitude to lead the state to prosperity and position you for greater glory, and grant you more opportunities to serve the country and humanity.”
