In every election, the people are faced with a choice that will shape their future. For the people of Kogi Central, this is another opportunity to choose a leader who has demonstrated a commitment to opening doors for ordinary people, especially youths and women.

For many people across the five local government areas of Kogi Central, Adavi, Ajaokuta, Ogori/Magongo, Okene, and Okehi, the discussion is not just about politics. It is about who can speak for the district with influence, attract opportunities, and ensure that our people are not left behind at the national level as it is currently.

Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON, has the experience, courage, and political network needed to give Kogi Central a stronger voice in the Senate.

The youths are the strength of every society. They deserve jobs, quality education, skills, business support, and a future they can proudly call their own.

Yahaya Bello’s time in office as one in which numerous young people were appointed into government and given responsibilities, he showed confidence in the younger generation and encouraged youth participation in leadership. As a Senator, he would continue to advocate for more opportunities such as:

  • More federal jobs and recruitment opportunities for qualified youths.
  • Scholarships and educational support for students.
  • Skills acquisition and vocational training programmes.
  • ICT and digital empowerment for young entrepreneurs.
  • Soft loans and grants for small businesses.
  • Federal projects that can create employment for artisans, traders, transporters, and contractors.
  • Better access to empowerment programmes designed for young people.

To many community leaders and political observers, sending Yahaya Bello to the Senate means sending someone they believe understands the dreams and challenges of young people and can champion policies that expand their opportunities.

Every home depends on the strength of women. When women succeed, families and communities benefit.

Alhaji Yahaya Bello gave many women opportunities to serve in leadership during his administration and believe he would continue to support initiatives that improve women’s economic participation and access to government programmes.

Hopefully to see greater advocacy for:

  • Empowerment for market women and petty traders.
  • Financial support for women-owned businesses.
  • Skills training for widows and young mothers.
  • Scholarships for girls.
  • Better healthcare support for women and children.
  • More opportunities for women to participate in leadership and public service.

Kogi Central deserves representation that speaks for every ward, every polling unit, and every community, not just during elections but throughout a senator’s tenure.

Yahaya Bello’s experience and national connections would help attract attention to the district’s needs, including:

  • Better roads.
  • Improved schools.
  • Stronger healthcare facilities.
  • Support for farmers.
  • Improved security.
  • Water projects.
  • Electricity projects.
  • Youth development centres.
  • Community development initiatives.

One reason many supporters continue to identify with Yahaya Bello is their belief that he understands the realities of ordinary people. They argue that he rose through public service with a close connection to local communities and maintained engagement with grassroots supporters throughout his political career.

Supporters and political analysts believe this connection would help ensure that the concerns of Kogi Central are consistently represented at the national level.

The future of Kogi Central depends on the decisions made today. According to his supporters, electing Yahaya Bello to the Senate is about choosing experienced representation, expanding opportunities for youths and women, and giving the district a stronger voice in national affairs.

If our youths are to dream bigger, if our women are to prosper more, if our communities are to attract greater development, then many supporters believe Kogi Central should unite behind Yahaya Bello for the Senate.

Together, let us build a Kogi Central where every youth has hope, every woman has opportunity, and every community has a stronger voice.
