IF I were Supplementary Governor Yahaya Bello, I would have committed political suicide. The season and volume of rejection is becoming too much and a shame to bear on him as a person and the integrity of the state.
Within just little over seven months in office now, he has been rejected by the people of the state irrespective of the socio-economic status making Yahaya Bello the most ABUSED, CRITICIZED AND UNDER-PERFORMING Governor in Nigeria.
Exposé on The Seasons of Clear Rejection Saga:
Season One: Rejected By His People
Yahaya Bello as a candidate in the last APC GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARIES, was clearly rejected by his people as the delegates from the Ebira axis preferred other candidates. 90% of the total votes he got to emerge as runner-up were from delegates from other districts of the state. His people know the type of personality he is, that he will end up bringing political reproach to the Ebira land if allowed to emerge. That was why they voted against him. Even in the general election, Yahaya Bello could not deliver his POLLING UNIT to his political party because of the wide range of his political unacceptability. By virtue of this, it is a clear example that his emergence is a case of devilish manipulation not of God/ALLAH’s ordination because whatever is agreed here on earth is also agreed in heaven. HIS PERFORMANCE in office proves that he is an artificial package, a devil’s instrument meant to bring poverty, hunger and disease into the state via non payment of salaries, embezzlement, lies and fraud.
Season Two: Rejected by His Political Party
It is no longer news that YAHAYA BELLO’S political party, the APC, came out and rejected him and accuse him of anti-party activities which led to a committee been set up to investigate him. The state leadership of APC openly passed a Vote of No Confidence on Yahaya Bello. IF a political party which provide a platform for individuals to contest election and organize the government inline with the party manifestos is at a logger heads with such an individual, it shows that that individual has no political support base and can be called a political motherless baby. This type of arrangement where leaders lack support from their political platforms is dangerous to the socio- economic development of the state. Where the government of the day appears or is visionless, missionless and otherwise. Most pathetic, this is the situation we find ourselves in Kogi state, where no political manifestos as regards to the change mantra has been implemented.
Season Three: Rejected by Civil Servants
For efficiency and effectiveness in public administration, both the administrative and political class must work harmoniously to bring fundamental changes to the polity. But in Kogi state, reverse is the case as the relationship between the Governor and the Civil servants is worse than that of a cat and a dog. This is largely caused by non-payment of salaries for almost eight months by the government and subjecting them to series of endless screening and re-screening exercises coupled with the inability to account for the N20 Billion bailout fund collected on their behalf by the state government. This has led to the technical paralysis of the administrative fabric of the state.
Season Four: Rejected by His Religious Leaders/People
FOR the very first time in the history of Nigeria, the Council of IMAM of a state come out publicly to reject the Sallah gifts from the state governor. They came out and rejected the Sallah rams and rice and placed a curse on any Imam that receive such gifts on behalf of their individual mosque. A situation where the government used over 300 million naira to purchase rams and rice for distribution, but most if not all the mosques that complied with the directives of the Councils of Imams of the State, hence, the rams are been shared among Yahaya Bello and his few political sycophants.
LET me not forget the STONING OF THE DEVIL RITUALS that was performed on the governor at the mosque. It is a clearer and wider view that Yahaya Bello’s rejection is divinely ORDAINED.
Season Five: Rejected by The Poor Masses
THE stoning of Yahaya Bello, the student protests, the e-criticisms as well as physical criticisms, which has put the popularity of this government to less than 20% on the legitimacy scale, is a clear pointer that Yahaya Bello government is not a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
Season Six: Rejected By The Supreme Court
THE divinely anticipated rejection of the stolen mandate by the supreme court will finally nail the coffin on the rejection saga of the very unfortunate and democratic ‘norm-less’ government headed by Yahaya Bello. We pray that the supreme court orders for a re-run election and let Yahaya Bello come out and test his popularity. I hope if my guess is just like yours……………… UNTIL THEN
