The Senior Special Assistant on Security to Kogi State Governor in charge of Yagba West local government, Hon. Joseph Tade Oshaloto has reiterated his avowed commitment to ensuring safety of lives with a stern warning to criminals and their collaborators in the area.
Speaking in Odo Ere on Tuesday, Oshaloto vowed to deal ruthlessly with any threat to the peace and security of his people.
He stated that the ‘Operation Àlàáfíà Rà Se’ initiative in Yagba West is all out to root out criminals and ensure safety of all and sundry.
“The core mandate of government is security of lives and property. Having promised under oath to assist His Excellency Gov. Yahaya Bello in ensuring prosperity of Kogi State through adequate security, ‘Operation Àlàáfíà Rà Se’ under my watch will not rest on its oars. Governor Yahaya Bello means business.
“We are not politicians, don’t stand our way. We are tough, thorough and true.
“We will deal ruthlessly with any threat to our peace according to law and public decency,” he warned.
