Former Federal lawmaker, Hon. Sunday Karimi has called on the people of Yagba West local government to give maximum support to the administration of the newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to Kogi state Governor on Security Matters (Yagba West), Hon Tade Oshaloto in his efforts to ensure security of lives and properties of the citizenry.
The two term House of Representatives member said the onerous task ahead of Oshaloto will require the cooperation of all stakeholders and the generality of the good people of Yagba West to achieve the mandate before him.
He reminded the people that development can only take place when there is peace and tranquility.
Karimi expressed appreciation to traditional rulers, party leaders, market women, youths and entire good people of Yagba West for the warm and heroic reception given to Oshaloto on his assumption of office.
The former lawmaker described the appointment of Hon. Oshaloto as “divine”.
“It is a an intervention of God in the affairs of the people of Yagba West. I want to specially thank His Excellency, the governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the choice of Tade Oshaloto which I consider as consensus,” he said.
Karimi described Oshaloto as an intelligent personality equipped with the intellect, wisdom and capability to take Yagba West to enviable position in Nigeria.
He, however, counseled the SSA Security to be focused, consult widely and strive to justify the confidence reposed in him by the governor and the good people of Yagba West as expressed during his first day of resumption of office.
