I, Adeleye Oluwafemi Godwin, the Yagba President Kogi State University Anyigba chapter and an aspirant in the just concluded National Association of Okun Students (NAOS) convention at Ayegunle Gbede wishes to use this modicum to congratulate the NAOS President-elect, Comrade Abraham Damilare; the Senate President-elect, Comrade Oloruntoba Moses Juwon and other executives who were elected to lead NAOSITES.
I want to say specifically that NAOS is in the safe hands as those elected are indefatigable and pragmatic to the core to pilot the affairs of NAOS as they have shown it in their commitments in all ramifications.
I want to also commend and applaud the number 1 citizen of Kogi state, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for creating an enabling environment for the convention, his love for Kogi state and Okunland. Also, I commend the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Kolawole Mathew for his magnanimity and fatherly roles to ensure a smooth convention. He is the best Speaker so far. Worthy of mention is the noble efforts and support from the Special Adviser to Kogi Governor on Youth, Sports and Student Affairs, Hon. M. D. Eseyin and the Administrator of Ijumu, Alhaji Taufiq Isa for making it possible for the NAOSITES to have a peaceful convention.
May God continue to remember you all for good.
I want to also appreciate the doggedness and pragmatism of the incumbent president, Comrade Habeebu Ibrahim, the senate president, Comrade Akinola Ropo, the General secretary, Comrade Olufenka Femi and other leaders for the success of the convention. Wishing you success in all your endeavors as the mantle of leadership was well paddled.
I want to also thank all the stakeholders of Okunland who ensured the convention was successful. May God almighty continue to bless you all. More grease to your elbows.
My candid advice to the new administration is that they must ensure they put in all their best in ensuring NAOS is taken to another level.
As I also pledge my unalloyed and undiluted support for the present NAOS administration under the leadership of Comrade Abraham Damilare to ensure the administration achieve the desired result for all NAOSITES.
Please, let’s all join our hands together with the present administration to achieve the maximum good for us all. We believe the GYB New Direction Agenda for Youths. GYB mean well for Kogi state, our cooperation is needed to promote our dear state.
