Yagba: Group Lauds Edward Meseko’s Non-Interest Credit Facility Initiative

A non-political group, Voice of Mopamuro Youths (VOMY) has applauded Engr. Edward Meseko for embarking on a sustainable non-interest  initiative program for women and youth across Yagba Federal Constituency in Kogi State.

The group made this known during its meeting held in Lokoja on Sunday.

Speaking after the group meeting, the Convener of VOMY, Abel Olushola Julius announced that the group has pledged to support the initiative and always contribute their quota toward actualizing a better and promising future to enhance growth and development for youths in Yagba land.

He applauded Meseko, a former House of Representative aspirant for Yagba Federal Constituency.

Explaining the rationale behind his gesture, Meseko noted that the initiative was birthed to reduce poverty and over-dependence of the populace on government for better standard of living and to implement economic empowerment on indigenes.

According to Meseko, the initiative is basically a non-interest credit facility, that requires the interest and prowess of the people.

He urged the indigenes to fully participate in the scheme, harness and embrace the innovation as all hands must be on deck in order to overcome the prevalence of poverty and it’s con’s in the society as the initiative was to empower Yagba people giving them hope and strength in discharging their duties effectively and efficiently.

According to him, there’s a well established and standard procedure to make the loan easily accessible for qualified indigenes across Yagba land.
