Yagba East: Sule Iroko’s 8-Point Legislative Vision

House of Assembly candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Hon. Sule Nafiu Iroko has assured Yagba East constituents of quality representation if voted into the Kogi State House of Assembly in 2019.

Iroko gave the assurance while unveiling his eight point legislative vision in Isanlu.

The ADC candidate promised to adopt consultative lawmaking through regular town hall meetings.

He stated that through the town hall meetings, he will rub minds with constituents on issues affecting the people for onward action on the floor of the House.

His legislative vision includes; quarterly legislative report card, realistic and sustainable welfare package, lobbying to attract projects and government presence in the constituency, exemplary oversight activities, servant leadership through selfless service.

Others are; vibrancy on the floor of the House, consultative lawmaking through regular town hall meetings and getting inputs from constituents to formulate polices via legislative deliberation.

“I am presenting an eight-point legislative vision for the good people of Yagba East state constituency. This is my pact with the people and I am committed to fulfiling each part of the agenda in the overall interest of my constituents. 

“My words are my bounds on these outlined eight-point legislative vision. I will subject myself to period evaluation on any of these through constituency town  hall meetings in the course of my representation, if elected,” he said.
