A grassroot mobilzer and stalwart of Africa Democratic Congress (ADC) in Yagba East local government of Kogi state has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Fabola was received into the party by the APC Ward Chairman, Adetiba Ezekiel in Ponyan on Saturday.

The decampee told leaders of APC who gathered to welcome him at the party secretariat that his decided to join the ruling party after soul-searching and extensive consultations with his supports.

He described Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello as a true leader and a bridge builder who will go far in the politics of Kogi State and the country at large.

Fabola stated that Governor Bello is a lover of youths as is evident in all his appointments.

He added that the newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security for Yagba East, Hon. Sule Abdulwakil, has set a record in ensuring harmonious relationship between all and sundry irrespective of their political affiliations.

“Within the little time the new SSA has spent in office, he has set a record in ensuring a harmonious relationship between opposition parties and never deceived or coerced them to join the ruling party,” he said.

Fabola advised his supporters who are still in ADC to accept the reality and cross over to APC which he described as the party Yagba people are in love with.
