Prove me wrong for once Governor Yahaya Bello by paying Kogi State workers before Sallah, even if it is one month full salary. I will praise you for the whole day. I will sponsor an article on major newspaper platform if you can prove me wrong.
You are a Muslim and I am begging you to because of some Muslim workers in Kogi State. Please, pay them and other workers before Sallah.
Indeed, same goes for the long suffering pensioners owed several months of gratuity and pension. Paradoxically, even political appointees of Governor Bello are enduring untold hardship; suffering and smiling except for the select cabal popularly referred to as ‘Loyal Boys’.
Quite sadly, Governor Bello remains consumed by the obscene and inordinate craving to continue as the little god of Aso Rock. While no one begrudges him on the pursuit of his vain glory, the bitter truth is that Governor Bello is frittering away resources that should be channeled towards bettering the lot of the ordinary people of Kogi State.
It is obvious Bello is popular in Asorock but still remains very unpopular in Kogi State.
Kogi workers are dying, the organized labor is silent and mute thereby giving in to intimidation and harassment. The activists are tired, the leading opposition are frustrating due to your carelessness therefore we have resolved to beg you.
Please, our darling Governor, pay salaries.
