The group also commended the state leadership of APC for its pronouncement that the party has no anointed candidate for the Kogi State governorship race. It described the decision of the APC to conduct a transparent primary election where the delegates will choose who flies the flag of the party in Kogi guber poll as a welcome development.

According the group, “those who believe that, they own APC in the state have been made to understand that the party belong the people. And even those who think that they made handsome financial donations to Buhari presidential campaign and are simply just waiting to be anointed by the party as rewards for their contributions have equally been told that it does not work in that way.
