We’ll Miss Your Mentorship, Haruna Yusuf Mourns Late Idris King

As the people of Kogi State continues to mourn the sudden demise of an elder statesman, Late Alhaji Idris Isiaka King; a foremost aspirant for Kogi Central Senatorial district on the platform of All Progressives Congress, (APC), Mallam Haruna Yusuf has enjoined politicians to imbibe the selfless service of the deceased while he sojourned the earth.
The aspirant gave the charge recently during the 40th day fidau prayers for the deceased at his residence in Okene.
Mallam Yusuf who emphasised that the deceased has raised a generation of leader in the state through credible mentorship, lamented that the death has snatched him away when his fatherly role is needed in the development drive initiated by Governor Yahaya Bello.
“Our late daddy was a political figure of unmatchable standard whose populist disposition has since heralded him as a man of peace and unity. In order to tapped from his wealth of knowledge, our able Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello appointed him as chairman of Elder Advisory Council in Kogi Central before he succumbed to the cold hand of death”, the aspirant lamented.
While consoling the children, friends and associate of the deceased, Mallam Yusuf expressed optimism that the sound legacies he left behind in political atmosphere of Kogi Central and the state in general would not be in vain.
He prayed God gives the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant him eternal rest.
