It was a gathering of ‘who is who’ as Sule Abdulwakil Juwon and Salaudeen Sherifat tied nuptial knots in grand style.
Abdulwakil is the son of former National President of the highly influential Isanlu Progressive Union (IPU) while Sherifat is the pretty daughter of a former member of Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Ganiyu Salaudeen a.k.a. Erukutu.

The wedding nikah which took place at the country home of Hon Salaudeen was attended by the Kogi State Chairman of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Hassan Salawu; immediate past member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representative, Chief Sam Aro; Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Engineer Tunji Oshanisi; Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Hon. Ayo Benjamen; former Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. T. J. Faniyi; Ahmed Afobaje, Hon Shola Ojo, Hon Bode Ogunmola and Hon Bola Fabola.

Hassan Salauwu, who was the Chairman of the event, admonished the couple to adhere to the virtues their parents were known for. He congratulated the groom’s parents for their lives during and after meritorious service.

Adeyemi , Oba Adetiba, Emir of Burdon, Lokoja, current Chairman of Ogori-Magongo LGA, Major Akerejola who came with seven of his councillors, Hon. Tuesday Omokore, Hon Mesinrin, Yagba East Council Leader, Mike Ayo Akere; about seven former LGA Chairmen and 12 former House of Assembly members.
