“We Will Provide Incentives That Will Enable May and Baker Establish an Industry in Kogi State” – Awoniyi

The Kogi State Government has promised to provide the necessary incentives and support that will enable May and Baker establish an industry in the State.

Incentives such as free land, among other relief, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi, the State Deputy Governor, stated will be granted to the organization if they so wish to establish in the state.

Awoniyi stated this when he received drugs and other relief items from the pharmaceutical company.

While speaking on behalf of Capt. Idris Wada, the State Governor, Awoniyi, described the state as having the conducive environment and personnel that can assist the sighting of a pharmaceutical industry in the State.

He pointed out that having operated in Nigeria for 68 years, the company should think of setting up in other locations,of which Kogi State is strategically located.

While promising to judiciously utilize the drugs and foods donated,the items Awoniyi, explained are coming at a very auspicious time in the period of Post Flood Management stage of the disaster.

Earlier in his speech, Engene Olewuenyi, Public Sector/Corporate Affairs Manager, May and Baker, said the donation is part of the organization’s corporate social responsibility, described the flood as unimaginable, which caused several damages to properties and houses in the State.
